Meet the Panelists

Three select members from our expert panel determine the winner of the Showcase among the finalists selected from peer review.

	ALISON BERNS is a native of Los Angeles. She has a degree in Psychology from USC and is currently a Talent Coordinator at Paradigm.
	RISA BRAMON GARCIA has been casting movies, television and theatre for 25 years including 70 features such as Desperately Seeking Susan, Wall Street, Something Wild, Angel Heart, Fatal Attraction, Born on the Fourth of July, Talk Radio, JFK, Sneakers, The Joy Luck Club, True Romance, Speed, How To Make An American Quilt, Dead Presidents, Twister, and Flirting With Disaster; and the television shows, Roseanne and CSI:NY, among others. She was a Producer on Oliver Stone's films, Heaven and Earth and Natural Born Killers, movies she also cast. Risa directed the feature film, "200 Cigarettes", as well as episodes of TV. She just finished directing another feature film "The Con Artist", starring Donald Sutherland, Rossif Sutherland, Rebecca Romijn and Sarah Roemer. She initiated the acting careers of a significant number of actors including Kate Hudson, Sandra Bullock, Madonna, Mark Ruffalo, Sam Rockwell, Donal Logue, Tea Leoni, Macaulay Culkin, Ray Liotta, Mary Stuart Masterson, James Spader, Alec Baldwin, James Gandolfini and Philip Seymour Hoffman. 	ROBINNE LEE is a successful working actress who most recently can be seen playing opposite Will Smith in Seven Pounds, Don Cheadle in Hotel for Dogs and starring opposite Hil Harper in the comedy This Is Not a Test. Other film and television credits include 13 Going on 30 with Jennifer Garner, the ensemble Deliver Us from Eva, National Security with Martin Lawrence, Tyler Perry's House of Payne (TBS) and Hitch, playing opposite Will Smith. Robinne holds degrees from Yale and Columbia Law School.
	Casting Director MARCI LIROFF’S extensive credits span more than 50 films. While working at the renowned casting office of Fenton-Feinberg she, along with Mike Fenton, cast such films as Bob Clark's A Christmas Story and Porky's, the Academy Award-nominated Poltergeist, Steven Spielberg's E.T.- The Extra Terrestrial and Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. After establishing her own casting company in 1983, Liroff's other film credits include the smash hit Footloose, Joel Shumacher's St. Elmo's Fire and Howard Deutch's Pretty in Pink. Recent credits include Jack Frost, The Iron Giant, Gothika, Insomnia, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just Like Heaven, The Spiderwick Chronicles, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, and Michael Douglas. 	CARISSA STEWART is Talent Coordinator at United Talent Agency (UTA). She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 and has been successfully pursuing a career as a Hollywood agent ever since.
	DAVID STRASBERG is the CEO and Creative Director of the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles and New York. The world famous Institute was founded by Lee and Anna Strasberg in 1969 and serves as an international center for training method actors. Strasberg has produced short films and dozens of plays over the past four years with The Group at Strasberg, an in-house production company based at the not-for-profit Lee Strasberg Creative Center in Los Angeles. The company is dedicated to presenting new works from today's bravest young artists, utilizing an ensemble of emerging artistic voices. Stasberg holds an MBA from UCLA and undergraduate degrees from Brown University.
	BRENDAN WAYNE is a working actor who has trained at top Schools (American Academy of the Dramatic Arts, and USC) as well as top coaches in LA (Larry Moss Studio, Leslie Kahn, Nikolai Guzov, etc..). He has appeared in numerous television and feature films including Home of the Brave, CSI Vegas, Couples Retreat and most recently Legend of Hells Gate. He is a proud user of the Actorcast website.
	BELLAMY YOUNG is a working actress whose career spans theater, television and film. Her list of credits is extensive, ranging from hit TV shows (CSI:Miami, Scrubs, ER, Grey's Anatomy, Cold Case) to features (Mission Impossible:3, We Were Soldiers) to indies (LArceny, Mission, Black & White, In My Sleep). She spent a decade in the theater doing Broadway and starring in national productions such as Meet Me in St. Louis and My Fair Lady. Bellamy has a degree from Yale University and has studied at Oxford University in England.
